Below is a fee structure for services
in Private Professional Consulting Practice. These rules will come into effect
on 1 January, 2016.
Guideline for Services and Processes for Estimating Fees for Registered Persons in terms of the Engineering Profession Act, 2000 (Act 46 of 2000)
ECSA will not be publishing Indicative Time- Based fees for 2016. The Time Based Fees are contained in item 4.2 of the Guideline for Services and Processes for Estimating Fees for Registered Persons in terms of the Engineering Profession Act (46 of 2000), Board Notice 138 of 2015 . Maximum hourly rates for Government work can be obtained from the Department of Public Service and Administration ( DPSA):
ECSA will not be publishing any disbursements for 2016. We recommend you consult the following Government Departments respectively:

2015
Below is a fee structure for services in Private Professional Consulting Practice. These rules will come into effect on 1 January, 2015.
ECSA has applied to the Competition Commission for an exemption from the provisions of the Competition Act 89 of 1998, in terms of which the Guideline Fees may be considered to be anti-competitive. The outcome of the exemption application may result in the discontinuation of publishing the Guideline Fees by ECSA and the use thereof by the public or full exemption may be granted.
