The Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) is set to transition from the current Application Cycle Calendar to a continuous registration model, effective 15 August 2025. This change follows an 18-month pilot and comprehensive review of our registration processes and supporting systems. 

The move aims to improve turnaround times, eliminate rigid submission windows, and streamline the registration experience through enhanced automation and system upgrades.

The final processing of the current cycles will conclude by 31 July 2025, being mindful that a small number may move into August for closure towards an outcome, with continuous submissions beginning shortly thereafter via the upgraded CRM portal.
